The Hotel Garni Thalmeier is situated in Gilching, approx. 20 Km to the west of
Munich in the north of Starnberg County. You can reach Gilching per car over
the motorway A96, Munich – Lindau, leaving the motorway at
junction, Herrsching/Gilching West in approx. 25 minutes. When using the train
( S-Bahn), you take the S5 in the direction of Herrsching, from the city centre to
the station Neugilching (2 min. to hotel ). The journey lasts approx. 30 minutes.
From Munich airport travel with the S 8 to the station Pasing. There change to
the S 5.
